Savannah Chrisley, Todd and Julie Chrisley’s life in prison has been a nightmare. They have now shared a report from another source who has given an account of “inhumane” treatment in the facility.
“When will it end,” Savannah Chrisley asked on Instagram. She was captioning a photo of a new letter that claims that Todd Chrisley was forced to take a surprise urine test for illicit substances at his prison.
Todd is currently serving his sentence at FCI Pensacola while Julie Chrisley has been at FMC Lexington. They reported to their facilities on January 17th.
Since then, Savannah and Chase Chrisley have been sharing their parents’ disturbing accounts of life behind bars. This letter is not the first one to report alarming conditions in Todd’s facility.
The Chrisley’s attorney Jay Surgent has also been outspoken about the issues facing his clients.
He told Radar that Todd was the victim of “a very cruel, broken and inhumane system” after he was incorrectly given medication intended for another inmate.
“The medical department is in shambles,” emphasized the lawyer.
Jay is now addressing the latest “unfair” treatment to happen to the reality TV patriarch.

The letter leaking details to Savannah claimed that not only was Todd given a random drug test in the middle of the night, but also that the lieutenant “kept your dad’s urine after the test was complete.”
The author speculated that they could be “setting him up to fail his urine test.”
Their attorney was not familiar with the details of the drug test when he spoke about it to Radar, but he seemed concerned by what it could mean, calling it “unfair” and “suspicious.”
Jay called it a “highly unusual practice” and he could see “no reason why that should be ordered” as Todd has “no record of drug activity.”
“Maybe they are setting him up to get transferred,” he theorized to the outlet.
The Chrisley camp has accused the prison of retaliating against the father of five for shining light on improper practices at the federal center.
In a July episode of her podcast, Savannah and Chase gave a disturbing update about their parents’ living conditions.
“You went and saw Dad, and you got to hear about the cluster of everything going on at his facility,” she said to her brother on Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley.
Chase responded, “It’s a nightmare,” adding that neither of them have air conditioners in their respective locations.
“They are both in states where it gets to be 100+ degrees, and there’s no air conditioning,” he noted.
Savannah revealed that her mother’s place has an “infestation of wildlife within the building,” OK! reported.
According to the outlet, the 26-year-old explained that Julie has seen some in her cell.

Savannah also mentioned in the episode that black mold and asbestos were an issue.
“I don’t care if you killed somebody, if you’re in a government facility, you should have air conditioning,” Chase stated on his sister’s podcast.
“At the end of the day, it’s my parents,” the 27-year-old continued. “I mean, I don’t [expect] anyone else to feel bad for them. [People] don’t have any sympathy until they’re in the situation and it’s their loved one.”

Savannah echoed that it was a difficult situation, commenting, “It’s just crazy to sit and watch Mom and Dad go through that. But luckily, they have the fight in them.”
“They’re strong, and they have remained loyal to each other, they love each other,” Chase praised. They are strong individuals. They weren’t built to break and this, for damn sure, isn’t going to break them.”
Recently, Todd’s account posted a letter on Instagram that was forwarded to his daughter after it had been sent to government officials.
It goes into detail about black mold at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola and the steps that were taken to improperly and dangerously clean it with chlorine. The letter also acknowledges asbestos and lead in the water.
The document, which was sent on September 16th, explains that COVID-19 cases were becoming an increasing issue again among the population there.
It contains the disturbing allegation that a corrections officer had improperly touched a female inmate.
The social media post from Todd’s account tags government accounts and asks them to look into the issues described in the letter.
“How could THE WARDEN let this happen?” the caption asks. “What is the Union going to do about it?”
